Trackpad Light Dimmer

Description

Yet-to-be-released product, launching soon. This lightswitch dimmer uses a super-responsive trackpad to allow the user to dial in the exact amount of light they want in the room. I inherited the project from another engineer, revised the hardware so that it fits into an ultra-thin (<1.2mm) form factor; I wrote a complex firmware application in ESP-IDF that includes an HTML page for adjusting the device parameters and proivisioning the device for a local WiFi network. This product is based on a custom implementation of the ESP32 microcontroller (no module). I reprogrammed the Azoteq touch controller, and verified the responsiveness with Azoteq's GUI, shown here.
